In Class Assignments: Time is given in class to complete daily assignments, and labs. The student is expected to finish any incomplete assignments as homework, and return them the next school day. Students will have one extra day after the due date to complete missing work before being being deducted 10%. Assignments will be given no credit if turned in any later than this.
Homework: Homework is intended to proved independent practice on a skill previously taught and to develop individual student responsibility and organizational skills. Students will be assigned homework 3-4 days a week. This is in addition to any incomplete class assignment that need to be finished at home. Daily homework is expected to be completed and returned the following day. Like all other assignments, students will be allowed one extra day before receiving no credit.
Attendence: Attendance is essential for successful participation in the course. Please provide a note if your child is sick and will not be in class. All efforts will be made to provide you with any homework or classwork so that your child does not fall behind.
GRADING SCALE:
90-100% A
80-89% B
70-79% C
60-69% D
Below 60% F
CLASSROOM RULES
1) Follow directions the first time (written or verbal).
2) No talking while the teacher is teaching. 3) Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
4) No cursing, put-downs, or teasing.
5) No cell phones
6) Stay seated unless given permission.
